This page is dedicated to our former shop-dog, Daisy, and
some of our favorite Biblical scriptures and Christian writings.
Daisy
was a very faithful employee and loved her work. She also
loved to visit with customers and other dogs.
We
also felt it was important to share our "dogmas."
As faithful as Daisy was, it is nothing compared to the
faithfulness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. TCB Embroidery
is dedicated to God and serving Him. As mortal humans, we
are incapable of perfection. However, with Christ as the
source of our actions, motivation and salvation, we will
strive to serve you (our customers and friends), with the
integrity only He can inspire. The Roman's Road …for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)

I
believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven
and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who
was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was
buried. He descended into hell.
The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into
heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe
in the Holy Spirit, the holy *catholic church, the communion
of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the
body, and life everlasting.
"The
Apostle's Creed"
(4th Century)
*The
word "catholic" refers not to the Roman Catholic
Church, but to the universal church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The
Old Testament is an account of a nation (the Hebrew nation).
The New Testament is an account of a Man (the Son of man).
The nation was founded and nurtured of God in order to bring
the Man into the world (Genesis 12:1-3).
God
Himself became a man so that we might know what to think
of when we think of God (John 1:14; 14:9). His appearance
on the earth is the central event of all history. The Old
Testament sets the stage for it. The New Testament describes
it.
As
a man, Christ lived the most perfect life ever known. He
was kind, tender, gentle, patient, and sympathetic. He loved
people. He worked marvelous miracles to feed the hungry.
Multitudes, wary, pain-ridden, and heartsick came to Him,
and He gave them rest (Matthew 11:28-30). It is said that
if all the deeds of kindness that He did were written, the
world would not contain the books (John 21:25).
Then
He dies to take away the sin of the world, and to become
the Savior of men.
Then
He rose from the dead. He is alive today. He is not merely
a historical character, but a living Person - the most important
fact of history, and the most vital force in the world today.
And He promises eternal life to all who come to Him.
The
whole Bible is built around the story of Christ and His
promise of life everlasting to men. It was written only
that we might believe and understand, know and love, and
follow HIM!

Mears (1890 - 1963)
